Oh my, what fun I had photographing this Sparkplug Dance workshop. I could barely keep myself from putting down my camera and joining in the fun.

Sweet baby girl and her big brother

This was a fun session with L and his new sister. This 3 year old brother was very patient. We ended the session with some fun outside shots eating ice cream. A sweet reward for his efforts.

This is another little sweetie that I photographed soon after she was born. One of the many benifits of my job is getting to see little ones every few months.

This little Bambini baby has grown a lot since I first photographed her on the day she was born.

I was asked to photograph S.M. before he has surgery in March. His mom wanted to captrue his spirit and personality. He was so full of life. Laughed through most of the session. He has a big brother and sister who give him lots of love and attention.

Maternity sessions are incredibly special for me. I love capturing this time of beauty and strength. It becomes such a close and intimate time. I feel honored when a couple ask me to photograph this special time in their lives

Love Six Month Old Babies

This is one of my favorite ages to photograph. Ok, part of the reason is that they do not move much. However, that being said, naked baby and adorable grins.

There was a lot of energy in this session. You really cannot tell by these photos. Little miss ballarina was quite busy. I think this was her quick break.

Studio Fun and Games

Life is Sweet

Have I said how much I love photographing babies? Oh right, I think I have about a million times, but the truth of the matter is, I just can't photograph enough of them. It is my way getting my baby fix. My granddaughters are 4 and 6 well beyond that fat cuddly stage. This session was so sweet. I love this mom and dad's loving ethusiasm for their daughter.

I like adding a splash of color to a clean and simple background.

Yes, it was a day in November!

This was one of those beautiful November days in Eugene, Oregon that was perfect for outdoor natural light portrait sessions. I love the chickens.

This little one had a great time. I love the grin on her face in the second photograph.

Energetic little beauty

I like to consult with parents prior to a session in order to know a little bit about a childs personality. It helps me gain a little understanding about a child's temperment. This little one's mom prepared me for a shy reserved little girl. What a surprise to both me and her mom when I met this energetic little one full of laughing energy. I did manage to capture that shy side too.

Here are some pages from one of my custom books. This adorable little boy was about to turn 1 years old. We photographed in the studio and outside to capture all sides of his personality.

A very cold day for outside children's portraits.

It was such a cold day when I took these photographs. We almost headed back to my portrait studio but since we were all there we decided to give it a try. The children were great and soon forgot about being cold as they ran around. I too warmed up during the chase.

Little M

I have been photographing M and his family since he was in his mommy's tummy. We met out side for this session. It was another warm beautiful fall day. I enjoy black and white photography but for some times a photograph just begs for a little bit of color. This family photo is beautiful in color and black and white but I love the colorized version.

Earyly September

Does anyone remember those warm summer days in early September? It does seem like a long time ago. I met this family at the park for some great photographs. We walked over to the EWEB fountain that evening and the children played in the water. There are more great photographs. Maybe later when I have time, I will post more from the session.
